Writer's Block: Concert mania

What band are you dying to see live in concert that you've never seen before? Would you travel to a different city or state just to see them?

hells yes.
Dethklok is coming to Los Angeles in november. i don't think i'll be able to go see them though, which sucks. they just came out with a new album, which i'll be asking for for my birthday/christmas.
i would not go to another state to see Dethklok, but i would go to another city. considering that in november, they'll be in LA and i...don't live in LA.

:D

DON'T EVEN GET ME STARTED.

i'm rather squishy, and i don't like it. i used to have a gym membership, but canceled it for all of the following reasons:
1) i don't like working out in public/in front of other people, even though they're all doing the exact same thing.
2) my dad's too cheap and lazy to drive me to the gym
3) i don't like working out/using machines without being told what to do (i was fine doing it in PE, because my teacher had us on a schedule)

personal trainers are like, $80 an hour.

i'd go out running, but i don't like running and it's summer.
so hopefully once i go to college and get myself some MMA lessons, the MMA will help shape me up and give me the motivation i need to get off my lazy ass and exercise.

Writer's Block: Lights Out

All it takes is a blackout to realize how much we rely on electricity. What's your most memorable story from a power outage?

1) i was taking a shower. then the lights went out. i was like "wtf man i'm showering."
i regrouped with my family in the living room later and read a book by candlelight.

2) most epic ever. i was shopping inside a Target store and the lights went out. people were screaming, my friend Lacy started going crazy...
unfortunately, the back up power kicked in about ten seconds later. but we got to brag to our friends shopping in Party City that we experienced a blackout inside Target.

way cool.

oh this is an interesting one.

i was doing community clean-up with my marching band. my group and i came across a mound of cigarette butts and decided "oh well the guy on the other side of this wall is a giant douche who smokes a lot, but for the hell of it, let's clean up his mess anyway."
so we're cleaning up Cigarette Mountain, and some guy from across the street sees us and runs over to us. turns out even Kirk Cameron is too good to use the crosswalk.
up until then, i had never even heard of Kirk Cameron OR his show "Growing Pains". i was still excited though, since i didn't think that anyone interesting ever came to my insignificant little town.
he thanked us for helping to clean up the place, and gave us each a fake million dollar bill (with a religious question on the back. i laughed at it).

so yeah. my first and only celebrity encounter thus far.

Writer's Block: To the Mat

If you were a superstar of professional wrestling, what would your wrestling name be? And what finishing move would you use to get to Wrestlemania?

how sad is it that i've actually spent time deliberating on this (before i saw this question)?
i'd be Ellie Blackwood, and i'd either break my opponents with a sitout powerbomb pin (if i were strong enough),a hammerlock guillotine drop, or this thing i came up with (a backwards, slightly altered inverted front powerbomb).
screw wrestlemania,by the way.
