i love band again!

of course i get my saxophone back on the day i decide to switch instruments.
i went to band practice yesterday only to find that i still did not have my sax back yet.so i was instrumentless yet again.the hornline instructor Chris pressured me and another tenor sax player to switch to low brass (since our low brass section is totally non-existent.one alto sax and our melophone decided to switch over to sousaphone (marching tuba).i just wanted to play SOMETHING,so i willingly switched over to baritone, forcing the other tenor sax player to switch with me.
then we did some more switching.the alto sax who originally wanted to do sousaphone switched over to baritone, and the other tenor sax took her place as sousaphone.i'm still on baritone.
and i like it.
i'll probably march with baritone for the rest of high school, since the other baritone is a senior, and i'm just a sophomore.
i walked back into the band room after practice to put my horn away, and Mr.Crystal catches me and says "oh hey,we got your saxophone back today.but that doesn't matter, you're not allowed to switch again." i was like "...okay fine."
i'll still play sax in concert band.i don't want to give up my baby that easily.
