skating with the Green
so my sister and i went to the Robot Chicken on Wheels tour on Saturday. because conveniently, we live about a half hour from Los Angeles.
IT WAS SO MUCH FUN!
Northridge was pretty shady, and we had to park at a middle school and take a shuttle bus over to the skating rink. we didn't wait that long in line, and when we were right outside the building, all these guys in Star Wars costumes came outside. it was really more like a Star Wars convention than a skate party.
everyone was there! i saw some storm troopers, empire and rebellion soldiers, darth vader, R2D2, luke skywalker, and obi wan kenobi. i got pictures of most of them.
then Seth Green came outside and said that they were over capacity inside, but they let 50 more people in anyway.
Seth Green: just don't tell the fire marshall.
MatthewSenreich: yeah, and there's a fire department right across the street.
so i did get inside.
SO MANY PEOPLE WERE INSIDE.
i saw Boba Fett once we got in the building, so my sister and i each got a picture of ourselves dueling with him.
once Seth Green got inside, he just got absolutely mobbed! i had to fight my way through a mass of people to get his autograph, and then he got swept away. i fought my way through more people to get a picture with him, and then he got swept away again. i tried to go after him to tell him i saw him on WWE Raw and that he was awesome on it (i would have told him while he was signing my journal, but i was too starstruck), but there were just so many people around him. eventually, he disappeared.
he reappeared later when the band came on. the band that's touring with Robot Chicken is called Gym Class Heroes. i'd never heard of them before, but their music is pretty good. their bass made my pants vibrate, and my ears were still ringing by the time we got back to the car.
i'm really excited and glad that i went. Seth Green is the first celebrity i've met who wasn't a religious weirdo (coughKirkCameroncough). he's really nice and tollerant (and short X3). a while ago after i saw him on Raw, i told myself that if i ever met Seth Green, i would squee.
and i did. without even really realizing it.
i had so much fun! i might post some pictures here tomorrow. right now, i'm trying to upload as many as i can to facebook before i have to go to bed.
awesome good time.
