i had a band rehersal today.it was pretty kickass.i met with the new director and drill instructors.the hornline/marching instructor Chris is pretty cool,and he taught the freshmen how to march 8 to 5.
...
but unfortunatly,i couldn't play.for some reason,all of the school's tenor saxophones are BROKEN.convenient how the only instrument broken is the one that the only present tenor sax player needs.
Maggie and Eric weren't at practice today,so that's minus two tenor saxes.the freshman Zach had to leave early,so i was stuck with the rest of the hornline as the only tenor sax player there,and i didn't even have a horn!
i was so sad.
Mr. Crystal said he's set me up with a horn next week though,so that should be cool.next week is also when i get CONTACTS!!whee!

i'm excited for band camp. : )
